Cat who fell from upper deck of Miami stadium saved by the American flag!

A cat that fell from the upper deck of a Miami football stadium was saved by spectators holding the American flag.

Victor Bermudez, 39, was filming the crowd on September 11th at the Hard Rock Stadium, Florida when he spotted a cat dangling by its claws from the upper deck.

The most spectacular action at the Miami Hurricanes' home opener against Appalachian State might have been the moment cat fell.

As stadium goers held their breath the lucky kitty hit an outstretched American flag, which managed to break its fall.

The stadium erupted into cheers and celebrations as the lucky feline was held aloft unscathed.

Victor, the Executive Producer of Miami Hurricanes Radio Network, said: “I couldn’t believe what I was watching at a sporting event.

“Sports fans are not just passionate about sports and their teams, but for the safety of others while attending their favorite team's sporting event.

“The American flag saves in all sorts of ways.”
