Mother Nature’s wrath: Extraordinary lightning display in California

This extraordinary footage shows a series of lightning bolts igniting the city skyline in California.
Andrew Powell, 58, filmed the incredible display from his bedroom window in Conejo Valley, as the storm passed over the city.
lightning flashes can be seen striking simultaneously at all angles while ominous rumbles of thunder boom through the atmosphere.
It is said over 4,000 lightning strikes were recorded throughout the entirety of the storm.
The video was filmed on October 4.
