Watch: Squirrel happily enjoys chocolate Kinder Surprise Egg

This cute video shows a squirrel tucking into a Kinder Surprise egg - eating all the chocolate to run away with the toy inside.

Enrica Palma, 51, had just left her home to go shopping on her day off when she spotted the squirrel eating something.

She was amazed to see the squirrel was carefully pulling back the wrapper of a Kinder Egg and devouring the chocolate shell inside.

"I always look at squirrels when I'm out and about," said store manager Enrica.

"This little guy caught my attention as I noticed from afar that he was eating something familiar.

"I realized it was a Kinder Egg and got worried about him eating the wrapper. It was half opened so I assumed it fell from somebody.

"I started filming him to send to my niece and was amazed at how he could take the paper away with his paws.

"He loved the chocolate! I'm not sure if it was good for him though.

"In the end, he ran off to hide the surprise toy and I lost him in someone else's garden.

"I was suprised to see it all happen, I couldn't believe it but our little encounter did leave me feeling happy."
