Daredevil cyclist takes the ultimate death-defying shortcut

This vertigo-inducing footage shows the moment a daredevil cyclist took the ultimate death-defying shortcut - by cycling across the ARCH of a bridge.

Professional mountain biker Aurelien Fontenoy was not content with simply crossing the bridge - he cycled up and over the decorative supporting arch.

The dangerous stunt showcased incredible views of his hometown of Grenoble, France.

Three times World champion Aurelien said: "This clip was shot in Grenoble. It's funny. I kept thinking there is a graveyard on the left after the bridge which I would be visiting if I made one wrong move.

"A risky trick is what I like. It's a one chance, no fail possible kind of trick. You have to know your feeling, body and bike."
