This amazing footage shows a man going for a serene paraglide - in his own FLYING CAR.

Agricultural engineer Fehmi Durmus, 32, borrowed his friend's miniature car after becoming curious about whether or not he could make it fly.

Tandem paraglider Fehmi decided to take his invention to the skies in scenes reminiscent of the classic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Fehmi, from Samsun, Turkey, who filmed himself on the Gultepe mountain, said: “I always like exciting and crazy activities, paragliding is one of them.

"The miniature car in the video belongs to one of my friends. This car is being used as a decoration at the store of my friend.

“When I saw that, an idea came to my mind, 'Can I fly in such a small car'? So in this video, my first exciting flying car experience is shown.

“Different experiences and crazy activities always give me energy and give me a high pleasure. I had been in a search of bringing new ideas about my area of interest, paragliding.

“It is important to emphasize that I never violate any safety precautions. I obey strictly the safety rules and I do not put myself or anyone in danger while doing anything about paragliding.

“I requested some of my friends to come with me to the hill and help me while taking off and landing. One of my friends took a video of these moments. During my flying, I used my monopod camera to take videos.

“I watched my videos again and again because I was so proud of realizing my idea in such a successful way and on my first try.

“I am always in the pursuit of an exciting life in which I can feel so alive and energetic. I will not stop doing things like that and always continue to add new ones to my experience and memories.”
