This scrappy cat and a dog duo have captivated the hearts of the internet with their cute banterous friendship.

Brady, the golden retriever, and Tuukka the cat have an incredibly unique and adorable relationship.

The two spend their time living the life of luxury under the watchful eye of doting owner Taryn Choquette at their home in Ventura, California.

Hilarious video shows the interactions between the two, including their adorable playfights that have melted the hearts' of Brady and Tuukka’s followers.

One of the videos shows a surprised Tuukka being knocked off the sofa by Brady before the two exchange EXTREMELY soft "punches."

Taryn, 36, said: “We try to film them whenever we catch them playing, but we definitely miss a lot of their shenanigans.

“Their favorite places to play are the couch and our bed, and sometimes they'll play outside.

“Brady and Tuukka have been playing, wrestling, snuggling throughout their seven years of being best friends.

“When Tuukka was a kitten, he had a grey blaze on his forehead, but it grew out and now he's all white. Sometimes people think it's a different cat, but it's not!

“They bring us so much joy all the time! It warms my heart to know how close they are and how much they love each other! Their playing makes me laugh, and their cuddling makes me so happy.

“This is my first time having a cat as a pet, and it has been great! I never considered myself a cat person before, but I love Tuukka SO MUCH and am so happy he and Brady get along so well.

“Cats get a reputation for being "assholes", but I think they're just independent and make you earn their trust and love.”
