Adorable photos and video of two adorable snow leopard cubs playing in the sunshine will melt your heart.

The cubs at Toledo Zoo, Ohio were born June 3 and recently named Pasha and Yuki by visitors.

The siblings are described by keepers as "little balls of energy" and enjoy jumping around exploring their habitat - keeping their mom busy.

"They are very cute like all baby animals but they are very much wild animals - they are very agile and athletic," saidMichael Frushour,Toledo Zoo's curator of mammals.

"Working at the zoo, it is fun to watch them jump around and explore their habitat each day."

The cubs were the third litter of their parents, dad Shishir and mom Greta.

The names were selected in a contest to help fundraise for the zoo's conservation fund.

Pasha is Turkish for 'man of high rank' while Yuki fittingly means both 'happiness' and 'snow' in Japanese.

"Yuki seems to be the feisty, adventurous one while Pasha is comparatively more calm and subdued," Michael said.

"Don’t get me wrong, they are both little balls of energy but the female definitely has a little more spunk and mischief in her."
