Hundreds of "Peaky Blinders" fans braved the cold to cheer on the stars at the premiere of the sixth and final season of the hit show.

Natasha O’Keefe, Sophie Rundle and Kate Phillips were among the stars who walked the red carpet at Cineworld in Birmingham, England on Thursday evening.

Fans wore the iconic Peaky hats as they waited in the cold to catch a glimpse of the show’s cast with some posing for selfies and grabbing autographs.

Show-writer and creator Stephen Knight, who recently revealed he is penning a Peaky Blinders film, then joined the wider ensemble for a quick snap.

Alongside him were Finn Cole, who plays Michael Gray, and Birmingham-born poet
Benjamin Zephaniah who has had a cameo in each series of the show playing Jimmy Jesus.

Irish actor Ned Dennehy also joined the group shot, alongside Finn Shelby actor Harry Kirton.

The sixth and final season of the hugely popular BBC series is due to hit the screens on Sunday (February 27) evening.

It will be the first series of the show not to feature Helen McCrory, who played Polly Gray, following her death from cancer in April of last year.

Meanwhile, bookies are predicting the show’s star Tommy, played by Cillian Murphy, 45, will be killed off in the final series.

Sadly the actor was unable to attend the premiere due to filming commitments in Mexico.

The actor is also being tipped to replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond.
