These amazing pictures show a rare albino frog – as onlookers joked the orange amphibian could be a mascot for Scottish soda Irn Bru.

Adam Bienkowski, 38, snapped pictures of the orange colored frog at Victoria Park, Glasgow, before it hopped off.

The business insights manager pointed out the similarity in color to Scotland's other national drink – and joked it was a rare Irn Bru frog.

He said the orange frog stood out in the pond which was filled with hundreds of others and that he didn’t think it would last long before being eaten due to its stand out color.

Adam, from Glasgow, said: “The super rare Irn Bru frog found in the ponds of Glasgow.

“I have never seen an albino frog before, I think there are quite rare.

“There were hundreds of frogs in the pond at the park and then I spotted this orange one, its color really stood out against the others.

“I don’t imagine it will last long in nature - it’s bound to get eaten very quickly with that stark color.

“Irn Bru was the first thing I thought of when I saw the orange color.”
