A mom who started delivering parcels to make a bit of extra cash has quit her job - after discovering she can earn a whopping £1,000 ( $1,300) a WEEK.

Atlanta Martin, 21, was working as a flight dispatcher when she decided to take on another role in July 2019.

She quickly settled on being a delivery driver, which she could fit around her current hours at Gatwick Airport in England.

And she soon realized how lucrative her second job could be - eventually deciding after two years to quit her airport gig.

Atlanta, from Worthing, West Sussex, can now rake in up to a grand a week by putting in 11-hour days.

And the profit she has made from the delivery job is enough to fund a nice lifestyle - including a recent trip to Disney World in Florida.

Atlanta, a mom-of-one, said: "I'm really happy I made the decision to do this job full time.

"With delivering, I can choose my own hours, work as much as I wish too and earn the same money or more!

"It was a risk as delivering is self employed and the money is not guaranteed, but I have no regrets and it is working really well!"

Atlanta worked at Gatwick prior to giving birth but, while on maternity, she found she could make extra money by delivering.

She said: "I worked there for three and a half years but I have a daughter who is coming up to three years old.

"The hours I had to work and the shift pattern was not flexible enough at the airport. I started delivering whilst on my maternity leave as an extra form of income.

"Thanks to the flexibility of delivering, I found I could work the hours I wanted to around my daughter.

"I started posting videos of me delivering on my social media which did really well so I decided to leave my full time job so I could pursue delivering and growing my social media channels."

Since ditching the airport job, Atlanta has been putting in the hours working on her own time delivering in the car for Just Eat, Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Beelivery.

She starts as early as 7 A.M. and works until as late as 10:30 P.M. - racking up around 50 deliveries on a busy day.

Her hard work has been worth it as she's been raking in the cash, making up to £1,000 a week through delivering across the south east of England.

Between February 14 and February 21 alone, she earned £542.70 ( $709.40) from Just Eat, £126.86 ($165.83) from UberEats, £306.16 ($400.20) from Deliveroo and £52.55 ($68.69) from Beelivery, as well as £15 ($19.61) in cash tips - totaling at an impressive £968.96 ($1266.59) in just one week.

Amazed by the amount of money she's been making alongside her boyfriend, Benjamin Hasker, 35, who also works as a delivery driver as well as a magician and doing Punch and Judy shows, Atlanta has no plans to return to the airline industry and is thrilled with her new career.

She said: "It's not guaranteed to be £1,000 every week - the more hours you put in, the more you earn.

"Thanks to my hard work earning this amount of money, myself, my daughter and my partner all went to Disney World, Florida, for two weeks in December 2021 - this was my daughter's first ever holiday.

"I have already bought two cars outright in the time that I have been delivering for work.

"I haven't bought anything for my daughter's third birthday yet as it is in June, but we are planning to go to London for the weekend for a trip to London Zoo.

"I'm really happy I chose to pursue this as a full time career. It was a risk but I have no regrets!"
