California home with its own legal weed farm on sale for $925k

A California home which comes with its own legal weed farm is being advertised for sale and is on the market for $925,000.

The single family residence in Miranda, California has 40 acres of land, at a price of approximately $771 per square foot, and a pond for the homeowner to enjoy.

Built in 1980, the property has one bedroom and one bathroom, with a loft which can be used as another bedroom if necessary.

The kitchen has a wooden stove, and there are two "super solid" barn structures, along
with a second two story unit for workers or guests.

The property also comes with its own garage.

California became the first state to allow medicinal cannabis use when voters passed the Compassionate Use Act in 1996.

Today, cannabis is legal in California for both medicinal and recreational use, meaning the new owner will be able to work the farm without any fear of prosecution.

On the market for just shy of one million dollars, the property has drummed up significant interest - but is still yet to be sold.

Listing agent Brooklyn Marvin, said: "This would be a wonderful place to post up with your family and run a legal farm while enjoying the beautiful property."

The listing boasts the plot has "lots of water" needed for tending crops, including a 4,000,000 gallon pond and tanks.
