Police pulled over a steam engine driving at 5 MPH with THREE trailers on a dual-carriageway.

Traffic cops were blown away by the bizarre convoy as it made a 40-mile journey along the A47 in Norfolk, England.

The green engine, which had steam billowing out of the top, was apparently causing delays for other drivers.

Police shared pictures showing the steam engine attached to a large red trailer, blue Range Rover and a metal open-top trailer.

Norfolk & Suffolk Roads Policing tweeted on June 7: "[We] had a "different" stop on A47 today.

"This amazing piece of engineering, towing an 'odd' combination of 3 'trailers.'

"Drivers were being delayed as it only traveled at 5mph for its 40 mile journey. Further enquiries ongoing."
