Welcome to the hair salon where you get a trim from a barber - and her pet cockatiel that perches on her head.
Angel Russell adopted the 'neglected' bird Pippa about a year ago, and it now spends its time flying around her shop in Swindon, Wilts.
Back & Sides barber shop was opened in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdowns after Angel lost her job.
The cockatiel was given to Pippa by someone who was unable to give her the care needed.
Now the bird spends it time perched on Angel as she cuts hair.
Angel said: "She was locked inside her cage in a dark room for most days. Now she's quite the mummy's girl.''
Pippa attracts a lot of attention, working as the ultimate mascot.
Angel has worked as a hairdresser and barber for the past 30 years, starting as soon as she left school at the age of 16.
