Hot toad-y? Well, you'd be grumpy too in 109.4°F heat!

Wildlife photographer Mark Koster spotted an unamused-looking amphibian tolerating the current boiling Arizona temperatures.

"This is a cute, but frowning, baby red-spotted toad," he explained.

"It's about one inch long, so I laid on the ground about 9 feet back; the minimum focusing distance for the Nikon 500 PF RD lens.

"It was 109°F in the afternoon that day as well! He may not seem to be enjoying the heat, but I think he looked very cute."
