Más de la mitad de los estadounidenses (55%) quieren volver a sentirse como niños, tanto que realizan muchas de las mismas actividades de verano que hicieron en la infancia.
Una nueva encuesta de 2,000 adultos encontró que lo que más extraña la gente del verano cuando eran niños son jugar afuera (45%), estar de vacaciones con sus familiares (43%) y comer muchos helados (39%).
La encuesta reveló que el helado sigue siendo una parte crucial del veranos, ya que el 39% continúa comiéndolo, incluido el 53% de los encuestados de 77 años o más.
Pasar largos días junto a la piscina (35%) y andar en bicicleta (35%) también fueron algunas de las actividades veraniegas que las personas han llevado hasta la edad adulta.
Los encuestados de la Generación Z tíenen más probabilidades de participar en las peleas de globos de agua que otros grupos de edad (42%), mientras que los millennials optaron por juegos en el patio o al aire libre (37%).
Realizada por OnePoll en nombre de I Love Ice Cream Cakes, la encuesta tambien descubrió que la persona promedio se siente como un niño nuevamente cuatro veces a la semana en el verano y el 54% esta de acuerdo que el verano es la época más nostálgica del año.
Los encuestados dijeron que verano es la mejor temporada porque tienen una mente más clara y relajada cuando estan al aire libre (53 %), cuando estan de vacaciones familiares (51%) y poder compartir las tradiciones de verano con sus familias (50%).
Las actividades que ayudan a sacar el niño interior de las personas incluyen comer helado (34%), hacer viajes por carretera con la familia (31%), hacer burbujas (29%) y andar en bicicleta (29%).
Los padres que buscan recrear sus recuerdos favoritos de verano con sus hijos optan por comer helado juntos (27%), ir a nadar (27%), hacer una parrillada (27%) y tomar vacaciones familiares o viajes por carretera (27%).
En general, la persona promedio dijo que comer helado lo hace sentir como un niño de 10 años. Y comer helado hace que las personas se sientan felices (36%), satisfechas (34%) y relajadas (30%).
Cuando se les preguntó acerca de los ingredientes más extraños que habían probado en helados, las personas dijeron "aguacate" y "trozos de tocino", hasta "pepinillos dulces", "ketchup y mayonesa" e incluso "tinta de calamar".

Al respeto a sus formas favoritas de comer helado, el pastel de helado resulto primero (39%), seguido del cono tradicional (37%) y luego en una taza o en forma de un batido (ambos con 36%).
