“EMAIL EXASPERATION”

DO YOU DREAD SENDING WORK EMAILS? IF YOU SAID YES, YOU’RE NOT ALONE.

IN FACT, NEARLY HALF (48%) OF AMERICANS SAY SENDING EMAILS IS THE MOST FRUSTRATING TASK THEY'RE ASSIGNED AT WORK.

{VO}

THAT’S ACCORDING TO A NEW SURVEY CONDUCTED BY ONEPOLL ON BEHALF OF UIPATH, WHICH ASKED 2,000 OFFICE WORKERS ABOUT THEIR DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES.

RESULTS SHOW MANY WORKERS FEEL FRUSTRATED WITH THE MONOTONOUS NATURE OF THEIR TASKS – WITH TWO IN THREE SAYING THE MAJORITY OF THEIR WORKDAY IS SPENT DOING THINGS THAT COULD BE AUTOMATED.

NEARLY HALF (48%) OF RESPONDENTS BELIEVE SOME AUTOMATION IN THEIR DAY-TO-DAY WOULD IMPROVE THEIR OVERALL WORK/LIFE BALANCE.

TWO IN FIVE SAID THE LACK OF AUTONOMY LIMITING OPPORTUNITIES TO WORK ON THINGS THEY ARE INTERESTED IN IS THE BIGGEST REASON THEY’D WANT TO LEAVE THEIR CURRENT JOB.

TOP WAYS AUTOMATION WOULD IMPROVE JOB PERFORMANCE

  • Creating opportunities to focus on more important work - 51%
  • Saving money (e.g., by reducing cost of human errors) - 50%
  • Improving employees’ work/life balance - 48%
  • Increasing productivity - 46%
  • Saving time - 45%
