“SIPS OVER SCOOPS”

NEW RESEARCH SAYS WHEN IT COMES TO DESSERT, NEARLY SEVEN IN 10 (69%) AMERICANS WOULD RATHER SIP THAN SCOOP.

{VO}

THE SURVEY CONDUCTED BY ONEPOLL ON BEHALF OF TIGER SUGAR ASKED 2,000 ADULTS ABOUT THEIR DESSERT PREFERENCES.

WHEN ASKED WHICH FOODS THEY’D CATEGORIZE AS DESSERTS, RESPONDENTS CITED A VARIETY OF BOTH EDIBLE AND DRINKABLE OPTIONS, LIKE ICE CREAM, MILKSHAKES AND EVEN BOBA TEA.

ABOUT FOUR OUT OF FIVE (78%) SAY THEY'VE NOTICED AN INCREASE IN THE POPULARITY OF DESSERT DRINKS.

NEARLY HALF (48%) HAVE STOOD IN A LINE FOR OVER AN HOUR TO TRY A TRENDY FOOD OR DRINK.

RESULTS ALSO SHOW FOUR IN FIVE MILLENNIALS HAVE A FONDNESS FOR SWEETS, MORE SO THAN ANY OTHER GENERATION.

ONLY ABOUT 1 IN 10 (12%) OF MILLENNIALS REPORTED NOT EATING DESSERT AFTER EVERY MEAL, COMPARED TO THREE IN FIVE (62%) BABY BOOMERS.
