A 91-year-old woman whose goal was "to be able to dance again" after 30 years has shown she's still got the moves by waltzing with an NHS worker.

An adorable video shows a patient named only as Edna dancing arm in arm with her physiotherapy assistant Craig to "The Last Waltz" by Engelbert Humperdinck.

Edna has been undergoing physiotherapy with the County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust to help her with her mobility and balance.

When Edna started physio, she put her goal as "to be able to dance again" and now has achieved that, and it is her first dance in 30 years.

The video has been liked over a thousand times on social media, with Twitter users describing it as "absolutely beautiful."

One social media user commented: "What a lovely way to support Edna’s recovery and to help her make some new memories.

"Well done Craig and team."

Another commented: "Brilliant Edna, and I am sure this is good at lifting your spirits as well."
