A pair of burrowing owls keep a look out in this charming picture.

Arizona bird photographer Mark Koster spotted the birds at Scottsdale Community College, where they have a habitat.

"These two looked like good cop, bad cop as they sat on the sign," he said.

"They both seemed to have different attitudes, with the one on the left looking a lot meaner."

The burrowing owl is a small, long-legged owl found throughout open landscapes of North and South America. They can be found in grasslands, rangelands, agricultural areas, deserts, or any other open, dry area with low vegetation.
