Jurassic Farse: Hundreds take part in hilarious Tyrannosaurus rex race

Hundreds of competitors have taken part in a race all dressed in novelty Tyrannosaurus rex costumes.

Racers took to the gates of the Emerald Downs course in Washington State for the hilarious dash down the 270-meter track.

Footage shows one of the races where dozens of dinosaur-inspired fancy-dress runners are seen crammed into the starting gates.

They then launch themselves into the race by waddling out of the gates.

The commentator is then heard announcing that "Sexy Rexy" wins the race as the competitors struggle to stay upright at the finish line.

The same race that took place in 2019 before the pandemic went viral being seen over 100 million times online.
