Singer Harry Styles gives a heartfelt tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II at his concert in Madison Square Garden, New York.

Styles, who is from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, halted his sold-out show in Madison Square Garden following the announcement of the Queen's death on Thursday.

The 28-year-old proceeded to ask the crowd to join him in a round of applause in tribute to the longest-reigning monarch of his "homeland."

Concert attendee Amanda shared footage of the moment the singer asked the 20,000-strong crowd 'to applaud in appreciation of Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years of service ' and thanked them for their response.
