Man wakes from nap to find 4 raccoons watching him

A man was left stunned after he woke up to to find four raccoons peering at him in bed.

Erich Hayner, 63, stirred one morning and sensed someone was watching him - and he was right.

He turned over and spotted four wild raccoons lying on his outside staircase - peering in at him - probably hoping for something to eat.

Erich can be heard saying "What are you guys doing? Well, okay, I’ll get you some food, okay?" as the mammals watch him intensely.

The raccoons are frequent visitors to Erich’s house in Edmonds, Washington and often come by to hang out.

“I first noticed them visiting me last year. Now they come round every day. They stay all day usually," he said.

“I know they’re hungry and know I’m a soft touch, but I swear they watch my TV when they're bored!”
