‘Chicken Man’ eats a rotisserie chicken every day for 40 days

A man dubbed the "Chicken Man" has completed a 40-day challenge of eating one rotisserie chicken every day.

Local waiter Alexander Tominsky, 31, became a viral star after he began documenting his challenge on September 28.

Since then, thousands have followed the madness online and hundreds attended his grand finale on an abandoned pier on the Delaware River on November 6.

Alexander from Philadelphia said his challenge felt like it "was the right thing to do" and after six weeks his final rotisserie chicken was wolfed down in around 40 minutes.

Video shows Alexander thanking those who came down to witness the ultimate moment of his challenge and watch him "consume" as cheers and applause ring out.
