A NEW SURVEY OF 2,000 ADULTS REVEALED THREE IN FOUR (76%) AMERICANS ARE ALSO WILLING TO TALK WITH THOSE WHO HOLD DIFFERENT OPINIONS TO SEE IF THEY CAN UNDERSTAND ANOTHER POINT OF VIEW.
POLITICS TOPS THE LIST OF TOPICS PEOPLE DISAGREE ON MOST AT 68%, FOLLOWED BY SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES (57%), CLIMATE CHANGE (53%) AND EQUAL RIGHTS (53%).
THE STUDY, WHICH WAS CONDUCTED BY THE WALTON FAMILY FOUNDATION AND ONEPOLL TO MARK NATIONAL PHILANTHROPY DAY (NOVEMBER 15), SHOWS MOST AMERICANS (80%) BELIEVE PEOPLE NEED TO COME TOGETHER TO SOLVE OUR COUNTRY’S BIG ISSUES.
