Clever dog opens door for locked-out firefighter into station

A clever fire safety training dog helped a firefighter back into the station when he got trapped outside.

CCTV footage released by Georgetown Texas Fire Department shows the incident where the firefighter approaches the door and an excited Koda walks up to the door pushing the bar to let him in.

“I was working late at our administration offices when I stepped outside," the fire department said.

"Our keycard access system temporarily went down which locked me outside and Koda inside.

"When she noticed me tapping on the door she quickly came over and opened it for me.”

Koda helps the fire department with training fire safety and if that wasn't amazing enough she is also a registered therapy dog.
