A wild raccoon led police officers on an indoor chase throughout the aisles after getting stuck in the wall of a local store.

Video footage captures the moment the animal was freed from the wall, only to bolt away from rescuers, into the store in Boulder, Colo.

A pursuit through the aisles ensued with the animal protection supervisor from Boulder Police Department, shoppers and staff frantically trying to catch the raccoon.

It was finally cornered into a kennel and secured, resulting in celebrations from the worn-out rescuers - one can even be seen fist-pumping the air.

Boulder Police Department shared the footage on their Twitter account on Feb. 2.
