A couple named Ross and Rachel have got married in an adorable "Friends"-themed wedding.

Ross and Rachel Davis met on a dating app during the lockdown in 2020 and instantly fell for each other.

The couple, from Ponteland, Northumberland, England got married in time for Valentine’s Day.

In honor of them sharing same names as Ross Geller and Rachel Green from the hit show, they shared their first dance to the "Friends" theme music.

They also put table place settings with famous phrases from the show, including
Joey’s pick-up line, “How you doin?” and Phoebe’s description of Ross and Rachel as “lobsters."

The couple tied the knot at Le Petit Chateau in Otterburn, Northumberland, on February 9.

In an amazing coincidence, the hotel even had a fountain almost identical to the one which features in the opening credits of "Friends."

Rachel, 35, a catering supervisor, said: "The whole theme was of the show 'Friends,' as we are called Ross and Rachel.

"Everything was perfect, and the speeches and when my dad first saw me in my dress were my favorite moments of the day.

"I wore a full glitter underskirt and lacy sweetheart neckline as I walked down the aisle to meet Ross, who wore a light grey suit with a grey check waistcoat.

"We had those who we held dear in special roles such as Ross's best man was his best friend, Euan, my maid of honor was my best friend, Becky.

"Our page boys were eight-year-olds Callum and Rory and four-year-old Elliot, and our bridesmaids were Abbey and Isobel with the flower girls were Grace and Poppy, both age four."

After the wedding ceremony, the pair and their guests enjoyed a Spanish Feast and BBQ.

Guests were also given a gift from the day, which was lavender-infused soaps made by the couple's friend and Bee Bomb seed packets that they made themselves.

Ross, 33, a plant area manager, added: "Our Tables were all Friends Catchphrases. We had the top table as 'He's Her Lobster' and others included 'How You Doin' and Pivot!

“We met online during the first lockdown in March 2020 and dated after the restrictions lifted. Our first date was a beach walk on Bamburgh Beach."

The couple spent a short honeymoon in Alnwick before revisiting Bamburgh where they first met.
