This is the dramatic moment a helicopter crew recued two people stranded on a cliff edge.
The pair were fishing when one of them, an elderly male, suffered a medical emergency and could not climb to safety.
A California Highway Patrol helicopter was in the air over San Francisco when a call came in about an injured person stranded on a cliff near Mori Point in Pacifica.
The North County Fire Authority also responded to the scene.
Video shared by CHP Golden Gate Division Air Operations shows the helicopter crew lowering a firefighter down to the cliff edge to rescue the pair one at a time.
The North County Fire Authority said both victims were safely rescued.
