WHAT DID YOU WORRY ABOUT MOST ON YOUR BIG DAY?

SEVEN IN 10 AMERICANS ADMIT THEY COULDN’T EVEN ENJOY THEIR WEDDING BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO STRESSED ABOUT THEIR OWN APPEARANCE.

A POLL OF 2,000 ENGAGED OR MARRIED AMERICANS REVEALED THAT ON AVERAGE, COUPLES ARE WILLING TO SPEND $1,680 ON A GOOD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER.

IN FACT, THEY’LL EVEN FORK OUT AN ADDITIONAL $1,581 JUST PREPARING FOR THE PHOTOS THEMSELVES.

CONDUCTED BY ONEPOLL ON BEHALF OF THE INVISALIGN BRAND, THE SURVEY ALSO REVEALED THAT FOUR IN FIVE (79%) BELIEVE IT’S IMPORTANT TO HAVE PERFECT WEDDING PHOTOS.

SO MUCH SO THAT ONE QUARTER (24%) EVEN PLANNED TO HAVE AESTHETIC CHANGES DONE IN ADVANCE.

THIS INCLUDE THINGS LIKE GETTING THEIR HAIR PROFESSIONALLY DONE (56%), LOSING WEIGHT (27%) AND GETTING THEIR TEETH WHITENED (26%).

Survey methodology:

This random double-opt-in survey of 2,000 engaged or married Americans was commissioned by Align Technology’s Invisalign brand between June 9 and June 12, 2023. It was conducted by market research company OnePoll, whose team members are members of the Market Research Society and have corporate membership to the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR).
