‘Ted Lasso’ characters transformed into Barbies

The characters from the popular football comedy show Ted Lasso have been transformed into Barbies.

The official Ted Lasso x Barbie doll collection features figures based on Jason Sudeikis' lead character Ted, Hannah Waddingham’s stylish Rebecca Welton, and Juno Temple’s Keeley Jones.

Each quirky doll is £51(over $50) and comes with accessories fitting to the characters from the Apple TV+ show.

Mattel explains: "Barbie celebrates the hit streaming series Ted Lasso with a collectible doll of everyone’s favorite coach.

"Our Ted doll is wearing a sporty blue tracksuit with sneakers. He also has removable aviator shades, a whistle, and trusty soccer ball."

Commemorative packaging features the AFC Richmond locker room complete with "BELIEVE” sign and Nate’s homemade suggestion box.

"This tribute would make a Fabu-lasso gift for any fan of the series, " add the toy company.

Describing the collectible doll of "tall and fierce AFC Richmond owner" Rebecca Welton, they say: "Our Rebecca doll is dressed for her morning “Biscuits With the Boss” in a chic champagne blouse with black tailored pants and classic black pumps. Statement golden earrings and a handbag complete her sophisticated look."

For model turned PR pro-Keeley Jones, they say: "Our Keeley doll is dressed for a night on the town or a chic day in the office wearing a satiny pink midi dress, chic golden heels, and black faux fur cape.

"Her fabulous style is complete with her trademark high ponytail, signature golden hoops, and darling pink clutch."

The Ted doll appears to have sold out already, but the others are available for pre-order.
