ACCORDING TO A NEW SURVEY OF 2,000 U.S. ADULTS, “JERRY MAGUIRE” WAS VOTED AS THE KING OF CHEESE WITH “YOU HAD ME AT HELLO” RANKING AS AMERICA'S FAVORITE CHEESY MOVIE LINE.
IN FACT, 63% ARE MORE LIKELY TO REMEMBER CHEESY MOVIE LINES THAN MORE SERIOUS ONES.
THE SURVEY, WHICH WAS CONDUCTED BY ONEPOLL ON BEHALF OF DAIYA, ALSO REVEALED THAT AMERICANS DON’T JUST WANT CHEESE IN THEIR MOVIES, THEY ALSO WANT IT ON THEIR PLATE.
ALMOST TWO-THIRDS OF AMERICANS (63%) CONSIDER THEMSELVES “CHEESE-OBSESSED” AND 62% FREQUENTLY ENJOY THEIR FAVORITE MOVIE WITH SOME FOOD.
Survey methodology:
This random double-opt-in survey of 2,000 general population Americans was commissioned by Daiya between Jan. 23 and Jan. 26, 2024. It was conducted by market research company OnePoll, whose team members are members of the Market Research Society and have corporate membership to the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR).
