Man captures ultra rare albino squirrel on camera

A man spotted a rare one-in-100,000 albino squirrel running along a fence outside his workplace.
Ross Hill, 31, noticed the creature running along a fence while he was at work as a mechanic in Bookham, Surrey, at 7.30 am today (April 26).
The white squirrel has red eyes so is thought to be an albino squirrel.
It is thought that one in every 100,000 squirrels are albino - with just 50 estimated to be in the UK.
Ross said a colleague had spotted the animal a couple of weeks earlier, so he grabbed his camera quickly to get some snaps.
The dad-of-two, from Surbiton, Surrey, said: "It was astonishing to see something so rare.
"I'd never even heard of them a couple of weeks ago and now I've even seen it in the flesh - it's amazing.
"It was very fast so I had to be quick too.
"The kids will love to see the pictures.
"We felt very lucky at work. We thought maybe we'll buy lottery tickets today."
The squirrel was running along a fence between Bookham Industrial Estate and the train station.
The condition is caused by a rare gene inherited from parents that prevents pigment from developing in animals, reports say.
Their white fur makes them more vulnerable to attack from predators as they have no natural camouflage.
