A pup is able to find his owner's mother's grave in a cemetery - despite having never met her.

Joshua Boyle, 38, adopted Zola in 2021, four years after his mother Judy Boyle passed away at the age of 68.

Joshua visits his mother's grave at Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester, West Virginia, USA, with Zola once a week.

And each and every time Zola, a three-year-old pitbull, is able to locate Judy's grave with ease.

Video shows Zola scouting through the cemetery and Joshua saying "Where's grandma?".

Zola can then be seen sprinting towards the far side of the grounds where Joshua's mum is buried.

Joshua, a case Manager for a pharmaceutical company in Chester, West Virginia, said: "I was emotional and very happy to see her run to my mom’s grave.

"I swear my mom is there in spirit greeting my puppy.

"My mom absolutely loved dogs and always had toys and treats for them."
