He has been a fan of the band since 1992 and went to every gig he could for 17 years.

The UK's biggest Oasis fan who has a £12,000 (over $15,000) memorabilia collection says he'll spend hundreds to see them as many times as he can during the 2025 reunion tour.

John Smallbones, 49, has been a fan of the band since 1992 and went to every gig he could for 17 years.

He's delighted they are back on tour and plans to snap up as many tickets as he can when they go on sale on Saturday.

And he plans to wear one of his latest buys to the gigs - a handmade 'Liam' wig.

He plans to live in his van so he can go to multiple dates, without traveling back home in between.

John, a window surveyor from Andover, Hampshire, who also has several Oasis-themed tattoos, said: “I’m so pleased they’re back together - I mean, who isn’t?

“I did think it would be 2020, and was disappointed when it didn’t happen.

“Then, I thought it’d be 2025, but it’s great they’ve confirmed it now."

John said he’s willing to spend “loads” on reunion tickets.

In order to make different dates in close proximity, he says he’ll live and travel in his van.

“I want to do three dates - at least,” he added.

“I’ll make it happen by staying in my van.

“I’m willing to spend hundreds, however much it costs.

“Though, I should get a ticket or two for free, really.”

The superfan has previously said his ultimate goal would be to meet Liam or Noel in public - especially Liam.

But, he says he hasn’t been “lucky” enough to bump into either of them yet.

He said: “It’s just not happened for me.

“I’ll look at people’s pictures on Facebook and see he’s in London.

“But whenever I’m in London, I don’t bump into them.

“I guess I’ve just been unlucky.

“I’d like to meet Liam more.”

Despite his "lack of luck" - John likes to turn heads in his local supermarket by going dressed as Liam, wearing his custom wig.

"My kids didn't think I'd do it," he added.

"But I went to Asda in full Liam getup - the wig, the anorak and the glasses.

"I did get some funny looks."
