Meet the modern-day witch who casts spells, charges crystals and cooks pasta in 'moon water'.

Georgina Easterbrook started living as a witch after going through a ''difficult time'' during lockdown, after being diagnosed with anxiety and depression.

The business owner says she has "always been into nature and crystals" - and would "freak out" her parents by telling stories from a past life as a child.

The 25-year-old now uses manifestation to "cast spells" to attract the things she wants - and says she was able to turn her life around using the law of attraction and modern witchcraft.

Modern witches believe in the power of crystals, astrology, and the ability to harness the forces of nature.

Georgina makes "moon water", by leaving a jar of water out on a full moon to harness its ''healing" energy''.

She then uses the moon water to cleanse her home and body, by cleaning and cooking with it.

Georgina, from Brighton, East Sussex, said: "I've always been ritualistic and into nature.

"Modern witchcraft for me is an act of self-love.

"Loving and respecting yourself enough to take the time to follow these witchy rituals - like choosing which crystals to wear or cleaning the house with moon water.

"Since living as a modern-day witch, I feel so much more connected to myself and my feelings."

Georgina starts her day by setting an intention and writing down an affirmation - which she refers to as "casting a spell".

She then chooses a crystal to wear, that aligns with the intention she's chosen for the day.

Georgina, who owns Athena's Crystals, said: "If my intention for the day is to be confident, I will write down in my journal 'I am confident'.

"Then I might choose to wear a Carnelian necklace, which is said to boost energy, confidence, and motivation.

"It's like casting a spell and manifesting the outcome I want for that day."

Georgina, who lives with her partner, Sam Lait, 30, who works in tech, also places crystals "strategically" around her home.

She said: "I believe that each crystal has different properties and energies.

"I keep black tourmaline by my front door, to keep out negativity and keep my home safe.

"I keep Tigers Eye in my purse, to bring luck and good fortune.

"I keep a rose quartz by my mirror for self-love.

"Like casting spells, choosing the different crystals sets an intention, and is all part of manifesting the things I want."

Georgina has turned her passion for crystals and witchcraft into a business - where she sells a variety of magical products, such as spell jars.

Customers can purchase the £25 jars - containing herbs and ingredients said to have different properties - to attract the things they want.

Georgina said: "When I first came across witchcraft, I also did a lot of research into herbology.

"It was amazing to learn about the power of nature and different ingredients.

"For example, my 'money' spell jar contains cinnamon, rosemary and mint, to attract prosperity and abundance.

"It's sealed using green wax, as colors have meaning and energy too."

Georgina claims that living as a witch and following these rituals has helped her manifest her dream life.

Her friends and family have been accepting of her lifestyle - despite not following the witchy rituals themselves.

Georgina insists her spells to do work - and even managed to banish a persistent ex, by writing his name on paper and freezing it.

She said: "I've been able to manifest things I never thought possible.

"Before living as a witch, I was unemployed and struggling with depression.

"Now I have a job that I love, and I'm in a happy and stable relationship.

"People might judge or ridicule me, but don't knock it until you've tried it.

"In this tech age that we're living in, we've forgotten about the power of nature.

"Even if you don't believe in it, I hope people take away that you have power and autonomy over your life."
