Woman names her newborn puppy Donald Trump

A woman has named her newborn puppy Donald Trump - and wants to gift the dog to the first family.

Jaime Bush, 50, helped her Maltipoo called Pumpkin give birth to a litter of three puppies on November 6.

One of the puppies - the first to be down - got stuck and wasn't breathing, and Jaime's mum, Bonnie Stritzinger, 77, had to performing CPR.

Jaime named her "little fighter" Donald Trump because "like the President he has had to overcome so many obstacles" - and he has a mop of blond hair.

Jaime, a stay-at-home mom, from Perkinston, Miss., said: "My mom did CPR and he came through and started screaming.

"We had to pull him out, he wasn't breathing or anything.

"I said 'mom I am gonna name him Trump, he has the same color hair and he is a fighter'.

"Usually they don't make it when they get stuck like that.

"We are a military family, we have been fighting for Trump and supporting him.

"When the baby came out, I said we were naming him Donald Trump, his hair was to the side just like Trump.

"If our beautiful Melania or Trump want him I would love to give him to them.

"Our puppy is such a fighter like Trump.

"Donald has been through so much bullsh*t and gotten to where he is through perseverance and he doesn't let people tear him down.

"Our puppy is four weeks old, he is fat and happy - he has curls everywhere.

"Trump is doing great."
