These stunning photos show the iconic Humber Bridge emerging from a cloud of fog.

Snapper Chris Frear captured the striking images of the 2.22 km (1.38 miles) suspension bridge on Wednesday evening as parts of the north found itself covered in thick fog.

Using his drone, Chris was able to get amazing aerial photos of the structure, which spans the river Humber between Hull and Grimsby.

It comes as the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for dense fog, which is expected to cause significant travel disruption across large parts of England and Wales today (Thurs).

The warning, in place until 11 a.m. on Thursday, stretches from Exeter and Cardiff up to York, covering major cities including Birmingham, Oxford, and Peterborough.

Visibility is predicted to drop below 100 meters in the thickest patches, leading to hazardous conditions on roads, railways, and at airports.

The bridge - which carries an average of 120,000 vehicles a week, spans the River Humber and connects the East Riding of Yorkshire with North Lincolnshire.

The Grade I listed structure can be seen for miles around and from out to sea miles off the coast.
