Trapped dog rescued from 90-foot-deep well

This is the moment a dog was rescued after falling down a 90-foot-deep well.

The incident occurred in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on April 14.

While waiting for local authorities to arrive, a local man decided to take matters into his own hands and rallied a group of residents to help save the animal.

He tied a wooden plank to a rope and was lowered down the well by several people.

A video shows the man being pulled up, emerging with the dog on his lap, safely delivering it to solid ground.

Once rescued, the dog was cleaned and returned to its home, remarkably unharmed.
