Dad finds out about baby No. 5 day before vasectomy
He was shocked to say the least.
A shocked man was told he was about to become a dad for the fifth time - a day before a scheduled vasectomy.
Brittney McHenry, 37, and her husband Ryan, 39, are parents to four kids —Jack, six, and four-year-old triplets Parker, Tucker, and Madison.
All were conceived with medical help and, believing their family was complete, Ryan booked a vasectomy.
But the day before his appointment, Brittney had a gut feeling and took a pregnancy test — only to find out she was unexpectedly expecting.
Despite the shocking news, Ryan still went ahead with the procedure and the couple is now thrilled to be welcoming their fifth child.
Brittney, from Utah, said: “I was devastated and he was shocked. We’d never been able to get pregnant on our own before.”
