British auto firm Aston Martin has taken it up a gear and unveiled its first ultra-luxury house in Tokyo - decked out with its own private spa and car gallery.

The four-storey private residence, Nº001 Minami Aoyama, is situated in the Japanese capital's Omotesandō neighborhood.

First announced in 2022, the project marks a major step in Aston Martin’s expansion beyond high-end sports cars.

The property was designed and built in collaboration with the Japanese luxury residence brand VIBROA - and led by Aston Martin's executive VP and chief creative officer, Marek Reichman.

It comes after the firm built an apartment block in Miami.

The 724 sqm, three-bed Nº001 Minami Aoyama in Japan includes an 'automotive gallery' - a garage with space for two cars, complete with a glass viewing panel.

The area has lighting and a wave-texture metal ceiling - and is a main focal point alongside four balconies, an internal garden, theater, private spa and golf simulator.

The interior is decorated with Italian furnishings, lava-stone surfaces in the kitchen, and bespoke furniture.

There is a Bowers & Wilkins audio system - the same that's used in Aston's iconic cars - integrated within the walls and ceilings in every room of residence.

"Throughout the design and construction of N°001 Minami Aoyama we have worked closely with VIBROA to celebrate the influence of Tokyo's culture, history and style," Marek said.

"The city has always held an important creative space within our design studio.

"And Aston Martin's increased presence in Japan and Asia has provided fertile ground for inspiration and collaboration.

'N°001 Minami Aoyama is a true showcase for bespoke craft, high-end technology and a unifying design language that parallels the truth to materials, perfect proportions and effortless beauty of Aston Martin's range of luxury sports cars," he added.

The exterior facade of N°001 Minami Aoyama's is also just as breathtaking.

It's front uses vertically-aligned metal lovers of varying proportions and angular fins that are split by a singular LED light.

Nº001 Minami Aoyama is the first fully bespoke private residence in Asia to be created by Aston Martin's design team.

It was purchased back in November 2022 by a private buyer, for an undisclosed price, and it is understood the building has been recently completed.

Bosses say it represents an expansion in Japan and the broader Asian market.

"The city has always held an important creative space within our design studio," Marek said.

"And Aston Martin's increased presence in Japan and Asia has provided fertile ground for inspiration and collaboration.

"For Aston Martin, design is something that goes beyond automotive inspiration.

"I see fashion, architectural and even culinary references being considered by our team when developing their work."
