This funny picture shows a runaway sheep 'detained' in the back of police car.
The animal had to be rounded up by an officer after it made its way onto the middle of a busy A road.
Devon and Cornwall Police posted on X to thank members of the public who helped officers rescue the sheep from the A30 in Devon on Tuesday (5 August).
The sheep was then put in the back of the attending officer's car, before it was collected by the local farmer.
The road was not closed at any point, but the force confirmed there were some tailbacks while the sheep was secured.
