Slaying has never looked so good.
The outfits, the drama and “murrrder” – in the words of Alan Cumming – are fiercer than ever for season 4 of “The Traitors.”
Every banishment feels like a runway show, watching the Faithfuls and Traitors strut the eerie halls of Ardross Castle. It’s leopard, plaid and leather galore.
The Emmy Award winner's dramatic entrance at breakfast to reveal the Traitors’ latest victim is one of the main highlights of each episode, but it’s what he’s wearing that leaves everyone saying, “Wow.”
The fashion this season is impeccable, especially from Cumming, the Bravo girls and the Olympians.
We ranked the top 10 outfits from this season, so far:
Warning: The following contains spoilers
1. Alan Cumming’s in the “flesh” look:
For episode 3, Cumming’s stylist Sam Spector teamed up with CHRISHABANA, a New York-based jewelry brand, to design a custom ensemble resembling “muscles and tendons.”
The themes of death and decay were the inspiration for the “Phoenix dress,” which consisted of a saffron yellow lace blouse with gold patchwork, a skirt and a cumberband. The team also created an illusion of dripped candle wax over the blouse, along with a sculptural spine and ribcage that were excluded from the final look.
2. Lisa Rinna’s fierce head-to-toe cheetah/leopard look:
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum is back on our screens, head-to-toe in cheetah and leopard prints, ready to tear you apart. The fedora, the blouse, the trousers – everything was perfection.
Leopard-print booties would add more drama, but Rinna’s gold slingback block heels worked just as great. Another notable outfit is her Rabanne leopard faux fur jacket styled with Ray Ban mega wayfarer eyeglasses.
3. Candiace Dillard Bassett’s preppy bows:
Just like fellow Traitor Rinna, “The Real Housewives of Potomac” alum came ready to slay in style inside and outside the turret. In the first episode, the mom-of-one looks preppy and innocent with her white bow-tied blouse, hot pink bustier and velvet pink headband. It’s giving “Clueless” and “Gossip Girl” with a villainous touch, and we’re here for it.
4. Maura Higgins is faithful in leather:
“Love Island” alum Maura Higgins made her mark in the castle as soon as she arrived in a monochrome leather look. The reality star also slayed in a plum faux leather Cultnaked dress, adding a beret in the same color and pumps.
5. Alan Cumming’s coffin coat:
Ten out of 10. “He’s literally dressed as a coffin, and I love it,” I said to myself. Only Alan can make death look so chic. Tailor to the stars Viviana Barraza constructed this mesmerizing charcoal-colored coat.
6. Alan Cumming’s “murrrder” sleeveless knitwear:
As if it weren’t quite obvious, Alan’s knitwear sums up the entire series. In episode 5, Scottish designer Siobhan Mackenzie was tasked with creating the maroon sleeveless knit top emblazoned with “murrrder,” a traditional Harris Tweed kilt and matching tartan. To continue the red-blood theme, she added bright red kilt socks and red gemstone details in the plaid brooch.
7. Johnny Weir’s chartreuse green jumpsuit:
The two-time Olympic figure skater is a vision in green. Episode one shows him wearing a chartreuse bow-tied jumpsuit, complete with green glitter boots. Weir also sports a ribbed emerald set with ruffled sleeves and green loafers when voting Michael Rapaport out. “I don't give a s--t what you are, I just want you out of my castle!” Weir tells Rapaport. What an iconic Faithful moment.
8. Kristen Kish’s white power suit:
The “Top Chef” host means business in her Veronica Beard white suit when hunting for Traitors. Throughout the series, Kish sizzles in quiet luxury staples with an edge, from a beautifully tailored L’Agence silver suit, to a Frame laced turtleneck, a blue leather Alice + Olivia set and a Derek Lam gray suit.
9. Tara Lipinski’s oversized argyle cardigan:
The Olympic gold figure skater and Johnny Weir’s best friend looks chic in episode 4 with an oversized Ronny Kobo argyle sweater layered over an embellished bustier. She accessorizes with black over-the-knee socks, patent leather shoes and a black beret.
10. Donna Kelce’s blazers to die for:
Taylor Swift’s future mother-in-law wears a red-and-black floral blazer during her Traitor reveal, setting a strong tone throughout the castle. I also couldn’t get over the thick-rimmed tortoiseshell Prada eyeglasses she wears in episode 2.
America’s sweetest mom had so much potential to be a great Traitor, but despite her banishment, it was nice to see her live out her dream in style.
