Over the moon about NASA's latest attempt to go to the moon, but don't know where to watch the launch of the Artemis II mission?

Look no further.

The launch window for the Artemis II starts at 6:24 p.m. EDT Wednesday, April 1 at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and shuts at 8:24 p.m. EDT, two hours later.

If the launch is delayed further for any reason, the next chance for a launch would be a two-hour window beginning at 7:22 p.m. EDT Thursday.

The mission will send a crew of four astronauts on a nearly 10-day voyage around the celestial object that orbit's our planet and back.

They will not land on the moon.

NASA astronauts Victor Glover, Artemis II pilot, left, Christina Koch, Artemis II mission specialist, Reid Wiseman, Artemis II commander, and CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen, Artemis II mission specialist, pose for a picture showing the Freedom 250 Commemorative Patch on their flight suits (NASA / Joel Kowsky via SWNS)
