‘American Horror Story: 13’ release date and who’s returning
Expect to see your favorite "Coven" witches on your screen this fall.

The witches are back!
The long-awaited thirteenth season of “American Horror Story” is officially returning to our screens this fall.
Executive producer Ryan Murphy has lined up an all-star reunion that will feature “AHS” heavy-hitters Sara Paulson, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd and more.
Ariana Grande was rumored to join the cast, but according to Deadline, she won’t because of timing.
Cult filmmaker John Waters and newcomers Avantika Vandanapu and model Alex Consani are expected to make their season debut.
Viral on-set photos captured Paulson reprising her role as the Supreme, Cordelia Goode, from season 3’s “Coven,” along with Roberts (Madison Montgomery), Gabourey Sidibe (Queenie), Leslie Grossman (Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt) and Frances Conroy (Myrtle Snow) in New York City.
Peters told the Hollywood Reporter in January that Murphy “assembled the cast from all the different seasons. It’s sort of an alumni, and we’re all getting back together to do this greatest-hits season.”
“American Horror Story: 13” will premiere Thursday, Sept. 24, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FX and Hulu.
