A NEW SURVEY OF 2,000 AMERICANS FOUND ONE IN SEVEN PEOPLE ADMIT THEY SECRETLY JUDGE OTHERS BASED ON THE IMAGE THEY USE ON THEIR PHONE.
YOUNGER ADULTS ARE ESPECIALLY LIKELY TO DO IT, WITH ONE IN THREE GEN Z RESPONDENTS SAYING THEY'VE MADE ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT SOMEONE FROM THEIR HOME SCREEN.
THE STUDY, CONDUCTED BY TALKER RESEARCH, FOUND FAMILY PHOTOS ARE THE MOST COMMON PHONE BACKGROUND, FOLLOWED BY NATURE SCENES, PERSONAL MEMORIES AND PETS.
