DO YOU BELIEVE IN HUMAN-ROBOT ROMANCE?

ONE IN TEN AMERICANS ADMIT THEY'VE HAD A FLIRTY OR ROMANTIC CONVERSATION WITH AN A-I CHATBOT.

A NEW SURVEY OF 2,000 ADULTS FROM TALKER RESEARCH FOUND YOUNGER AMERICANS ARE FAR MORE LIKELY TO CROSS THAT LINE, WITH MORE THAN ONE IN FOUR GEN Z RESPONDENTS SAYING THEY'VE GOTTEN FLIRTY WITH A-I.

BUT DOES THAT COUNT AS CHEATING?

ONE IN FOUR AMERICANS SAYS YES, AND MORE THAN A THIRD OF GEN Z CONSIDERS GETTING ROMANTIC WITH A-I A RELATIONSHIP DEALBREAKER.

SO WHAT ABOUT YOU? IS FLIRTING WITH A-I JUST HARMLESS FUN... OR IS IT CHEATING?

Research methodology:

Talker Research surveyed 2,000 general population Americans; the survey was administered and conducted online by Talker Research between July 1 and July 6, 2026. A link to the questionnaire can be found here.
