HALLOWEEN MAY BE FOR ALL AGES, BUT MOST AMERICANS ARE SITTING OUT THE COSTUMES THIS YEAR.

A NEW SURVEY OF 2,000 AMERICANS FROM TALKER RESEARCH FOUND THREE-QUARTERS AREN’T PLANNING TO DRESS UP AND NEARLY FOUR IN FIVE WON’T BE ATTENDING A HALLOWEEN PARTY.

THAT’S DESPITE MORE THAN TWO-THIRDS SAYING YOU’RE NEVER TOO OLD TO GET INTO COSTUME.

MAYBE THE OPTIONS ARE GETTING STALE: 75 PERCENT SAY SOME COSTUMES ARE TOO PLAYED OUT, WITH ‘SEXY’ VERSIONS OF ANYTHING, PIRATES AND THE JOKER TOPPING THE LIST.

SO... ARE YOU DRESSING UP THIS HALLOWEEN? LET US KNOW!

Research methodology:

Talker Research surveyed 2,000 Americans who have access to the internet; the survey was commissioned, administered and conducted online by Talker Research between Sep. 2 and Sep. 8, 2026. A link to the questionnaire can be found here.
