Editorial quality and integrity:
All content is rigorously fact-checked and edited by our experienced team of news editors and data journalists before publication.
All stories created by Talker’s editorial team must meet the same editorial standards that apply to every Talker story. Each story is created and published on editorial merit and must be regarded as a non-biased matter of public interest based upon fact-checked reporting or original survey data conducted in adherence with MRS and ESOMAR practices alongside other research accreditation standards and transparency initiatives we commit to.
Accuracy, transparency and corrections:
Each article is reviewed multiple times by more than one editor to ensure accuracy and multiple perspectives. Many of our articles are based on original source materials or sourced from published or publicly available research.
Our ownership, affiliations and any potential conflicts of interest are public record. Our content is not influenced by ownership, advertisers or stakeholders.
We acknowledge and correct inaccuracies and/or errors in our content.
Originality and plagiarism:
We respect intellectual property rights and observe copyright laws.
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and we check regularly to ensure the originality of our content.
Ethics and privacy:
Our articles do not violate individuals' privacy, promote hate speech or engage in discrimination of any type.
AI policy:
All of Talker's stories are created by people, not AI.
AI tools support background tasks such as analysis, or production efficiencies, but the core creative work, creative, writing, editing, and shaping the narrative is done by a human.
User engagement:
We strive to foster a respectful community through our feedback forms and social media accounts. Reader input is welcome and encouraged.
Diversity and inclusion:
At Talker, we value diverse backgrounds and perspectives. We strive for equity and inclusivity within our organization.
