A dog named Banksy uses his painting skills to recreate famous works by his namesake - all for the charity that cares for him.

The rescue dog - also nicknamed Barksy - uses his nose and paws to make the pieces of art to raise money for Bristol Animal Rescue Centre.

''The money will make a big difference to the lives of vulnerable animals in our care.

''I think he secretly really enjoys the attention. He's really come out of his shell."

Barksy has recreated "Girl With The Tennis Ball Earring," "Good Panda," "Treats Are In The Air," "Dog And Cat," "Neon Panda," "(Dreaming Of) Adoption Day" and "DB Original."

Good Panda was the biggest seller - for £120 ($162) and the auction raised £498 ($674).

Staff now want to find Banksy a home for good.
