A make-up artist spent 27 HOURS and £60 ($72) sticking 13,000 rhinestones to her body - after taking inspiration from Doja Cat's Fashion Week look.

Mom-of-two Holly Murray, 31, spent some time "mentally preparing" herself before a grueling 27-hour stint in front of the mirror - to carefully apply each rhinestone individually to her head and chest.

She posted a video of the process on TikTok - which racked up over 21 million views - alongside her other stunning designs.

Holly, a make-up creative, from Accrington, Lancashire, England said: "I saw Doja come out and I thought: 'What an icon, I have to have that on my face now.'

"She looks like one of the X-Men.

"I wanted to do it red, but TikTok often puts warnings on red things, and I didn't want to put in all that effort just to get a warning on the video, so I steered clear of red gems.

"I'm still tired and still recovering - 27 hours from start to finish, it was disgusting.

"I had to put them all on one by one - I should have got bigger gems.

"I get loads of comments asking how I've got the time to do it, but it's more that I'm passionate about it. It's not only my job, but also the way that I kill off time."

Holly ordered the rhinestones costing £60 ($72) from Amazon and said most of the preparation was about getting in the right mental space.

After putting on a bald cap and added latex, she applied the rhinestones with medical adhesive glue to better protect her skin when removing it.

She said: "I ordered the gems on Amazon, and it was more about getting myself in the right head space to be sat on my arse for 27 hours.

"I put a bald cap on and painted white latex on and let that dry.

"Then I used medical adhesive glue so stick the rhinestones on so it's not as harsh on my skin.

"I used a mirror and step-by-step put them on.

"When doing the rhinestones on my neck I couldn't look down, so I was just using mirror - pure eye-strain central."

Despite the lengthy process, Holly was happy the final outcome and says she'll be taking a well-earned break.

"I think it was worth it in the end. In hindsight, I'll probably book a holiday after the next one," she said.

In a separate video, Holly removed her 27 hours' worth of work - which showed the liquid latex the rhinestones were glued to.

Although not her hardest, Holly says this design was the most tedious she's done.

She said: "I wouldn't say it's my hardest you know - I'd say it's the most tedious but my hardest would be my Pennywise look and painting the ruffles on his shirt."

Holly carved out a career for herself on TikTok by doing stunning make-up transformations.

On her account, Holly tries out viral makeup trends and is best known for her celebrity and horror character transformation.

Beetlejuice, Pennywise and Austin Powers are just some of the incredible and realistic characters she has transformed herself into.

Holly describes her account as a “bit weird and odd” but adds that she wouldn’t have it any other way.

She said: "When people ask what I do I tell them I am a children’s entertainer and I also do a bit of TikTok.

“When I tell them I cosplay as different characters, including some scary ones, I get a few funny looks.”
